Super Bowl XLVIII Ticket Prices Dropping Drastically

While there are numerous reports of even the cheapest Super Bowl XLVIII tickets going for around $2,500 a seat, the New York Post is reporting that seats to this Sunday's big game could end up being the cheapest since 2002.

According to the Post, ticket prices took a nose dive over the weekend with the cheapest seats going for around $1,150. In addition, more than 18,000 tickets are reportedly still available on the secondary market. It seems as though the New York metropolitan area just isn't garnering as much interest as expected. Another thing to take into consideration is the fact that fans for the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks may not be able to handle the travel demands to the East Coast.

Despite the drop in the ticket prices, they still seem outlandish for most. Seats with access to heat are reportedly going for as much as $7,000. Just how low do the ticket prices have to get in order to pique your interest?
