Prominent Doctor Charged With Killing Wife

A prominent Syracuse obstetrician has been indicted for the murder of his wife.

Dr. Robert Neulander pleaded not guilty to second degree murder and tampering with physical evidence charges. Neulander's wife Leslie was found dead in their Dewitt home in 2012.

Neulander is accused in the indictment of changing the sheets on the bed in the master bedroom and moving his wife's body to make it appear she had fallen in the shower.  He is being held on $100 thousand dollars cash bail or $200 thousand dollars bond, and January trial is scheduled.
